Finally my friends, a legitimate fashion event in Edmonton. FLARE Magazine and TREsemme hosted the World Runway Tour held at the swank and redefined Alberta Gallery of Art. The evening was full of Cointreau cocktails
for me, hair touch ups from on-site TREsemme stylists, cheeseburger and salmon appies and great looking, important people in the fashion industry. Breakfast Television’s hilarious Bridget Ryan opened the show and introduced FLARE’s marketing editor Erin O’Brian who presented this season’s top trends from luxury brands worldwide – burnt oranges and oxblood reds, chunky knits, lavish leathers and striking pattern mixing. The models were tall, incredibly slim and perused the catwalk with serious style. The show lasted just over an hour and the swag bags were heavy.
The swag bags were loaded with fun fake eyelashes, nail files and nail stickers, magazines, Biore wipes, gift certificates and a shit ton of TREsemme hair products. Typically, I dont use TREsemme anything but they will make great re-gifters. In the end, I was impressed and eagerly happy to attend a great fashion show and support the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Currently, I am in the Land of Rape & Honey; Tisdale, Saskatchewan. Politically correct much? I am getting my redneck on this weekend, hence the delay in my post. HAPPY THANKSGIVING, what are you thankful for? GOBBLE GOBBLE.
