Paris Fashion Week – Chloe

Chloe is every modern women’s dream. The ready to wear design house channels free spirit to feel cool, calm and collected without trying to hard. Clare Waight Keller portrayed a “wear it all, where ever” ambience in Paris on day 7 of PFW. Usually, Chloe is a simplistic brand with very wearable and expensive looks. The 60th birthday took a minimalist approach but didn’t stop short of a ruffle overload. Comparing the show to JPG or Dries van Noten, I found it unexciting but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t wear 2/3 of this collection.

I favoured the sheer and netting details first. The colour palette was basically a big bore being mostly nudes, pastels or touches of organza gold. The hints of burnt orange and stripes were excellent – if only there were more of them.

cool, casual, sheer

addicted to ruffles

i’m yawning… bore me

The last of 4 major fashion weeks ends tomorrow. What were some of your favourite catwalk shows? Hey Edmontonians! It’s supposed to snow this week. Just thought I would share. 😉
