Some say September is the busiest fashion month of the year. It probably is. You’ve got the September issue which credible fashion magazine editor’s will sweat over 6 months prior, fashion weeks in major style cities around the globe, and two-year-old ‘FNO’ Fashion’s Night Out on it’s annual evening September 8th. I guess it is fashion madness.
As if I am not busy enough, September is crazy for catching up on my style news. I try to view every catwalk show during fashion weeks. I love them and find it inspiring. London FW wrapped up today after a cool 5 days, so on this crisp Tuesday evening, I am cozy in bed drinking Chai tea stealing the opportunity to
relax catch up on the catwalk.
Burberry Prorsum SS13
I find that as beautiful and classic as Burberry is, there appeared to be some unoriginality to some proportion in this collection. The trenches were absolutely stunning and no matter what, they are always designed impeccably. But, perhaps a little boring? A little, we’ve seen this before? I appreciated the faded color blocking and there were some beautiful texturized fabrics but in the end, forget the trench coats, this show was a metallic overload.
faded color blocking
little really boring
What do you guys think? I wonder how quick these looks will sell out. WIsh I was buying!
